Millet seed is the basic ingredient in many bird feeders because of its balanced nutrients. Millet is used in fishing in the same way that hemp is used. Millet seed is quite small but can be fed as particles to give a feeding area more body. The small food particles keep a fish busy for a long time and therefore longer at the feeding spot.

Ground millet is often used in bird food mixes to give it extra texture.

Preparation; Soak in water for at least 5 hours, then boil briefly (particle)
